The AOP vineyard of the Domaine du Vistre is located at the Laune of Gallician and at Beauvoisin.
These low hills of sandstone and Rhône river rounded rocks enjoy a privileged sunny exposure facing the low lying waters of Petite Camargue.
The best vines of the label make up this vineyard: Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre.
The Vin de Pays vineyard is located along the Vistre river (which flows into the Vidourle). One part of the land is made up of villafranchian crushed stone.
This type of soil is appropriate for regional vines such as Syrah and Grenache, as well as new vines such as Marselan and Caladoc.
The other part is silty soil on top of a bed of sand and gravel, which is quite appropriate for vines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc, etc …
Renovation and modernisation of the wine facilities, knowledge of the soils, control of yields, the introduction of adapted varieties, the "savoir faire" enable the necessary changes for the production of quality wines, while respecting environment.
